Health is wealth. Recently, our institution witnessed an exciting and pioneering event. The first Health Day organized and executed by our dedicated 11th graders. The idea for Health Day came about during a brainstorming session among our students, where they recognized the need for a day dedicated to health, wellness and fitness at our school. They held this event as part of their social work. This initiative not only raised awareness about the importance of health and well-being, but also brought our school community closer together.

The morning of Health Day was filled with enthusiasm and eagerness. Here are some of the highlights from that day:

1. Fitness Challenges: There was a variety of exercise challenges given by two UFIT coaches. This got the students up and going.

2. Nutrition Station: Our 11th graders set up a station where they offered healthy snacks and drinks.

3. Guest Speaker: We had the presence of a health professional who gave an informative talk about the importance of leading a healthy lifestyle.

4. Sports: Our students competed in soccer and volleyball events.

El Alba Bilingual School’s first Health Day had a significant influence on our students, teachers, and the entire school community. It was a day filled with learning, enjoyment, and connection. Our 11th graders not only demonstrated their leadership abilities, but also contributed to promoting the concept of health in our school’s culture.
