My name is Nancy Jarufe, and I started attending El Alba in fourth grade and graduated in 2013.
Reflecting on my journey, I can confidently say that my time at El Alba Bilingual School transformed me into an extroverted individual with a business mindset. The skills I developed in communication and leadership have been invaluable.
My senior year was a highlight, filled with unforgettable experiences like trips, performances, and the bonds formed with friends. Each teacher played a significant role in shaping my career choices, but I will always remember Mr. Sierra’s inspiring speech about confidence.
After graduating, I pursued a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Tourism at UNITEC (Universidad Tecnológica Centroamericana). I then launched my own business, which has allowed me to follow my passion and give back to my community. I am excited to share that I am about to open my second store in another city!
